he sat at the pier, waiting for his girl to get there. he had his shoes off, and his feet in the water.it was a calm afternoon; the sun was setting in front of him. he grabbed his phone to check the time. just at that moment, his phone lit up and started playing his ring tone...it was her...

"hello, my love! when are yu getting here? where are yu? i could meet yu.", he asked cheerfully, speaking into the phone.

"i...i cant be with yu...im sorry Jeremy...", she said quietly.

before he could respond, the line went dead. he sat there for a moment; hoping he'd imagined the whole thing.

"shit! what did yu do this time, Jeremy?!?", he muttered to himselt.

he got his shoes on and started walking home, with his heaad down. he accidentally ran into another girl walking towards him.

"oh, sorry... didnt see yu there...", he mumbled, still not looking up.

"its k...im used to it...", she mumbled back.

the simple remark she made caught his attention. he looked up at the girl, whose head was also facing the ground. he reached forward and lifted her face.

"yu're much too beautiful to hide like this.", he whispered, taking a step forward, getting closer to her.

she looked away from him, as though frightened and shy, but he continued to hold her in his hand.

"i...im sorry...my my names Jeremy...and i really didnt mean to bump into yu...although now, im kinda glad i did...", he whispered.

"my...ummm my names Skylar...its no bog deal..i really am used to it...", she whispered back.

"yu're beautiul, Skylar", he said, pulling her close to him, just as he kissed her.

to his surprise, she kissed him back...

"so are yu, Jeremy...", she said as she kissed him again.
